Proponents of this theory claim that the mind cannot be reduced to simple computational processes. This is often used as the basis of some sort of some sort of claim that human thought has some transcendent qualities. The main problem with this theory is that the quantum entanglement of particles needed to perform any meaningful computation is extremely difficult to perform even in laboratory conditions. In addition, most biological effects are statistical processes involving statistical properties of many thousands of particles which increases the difficulty of entangling the system in any meaningful way.
